In late September 2013, I found myself yet again without band members. After a very short break to refocus myself, I decided that I was sitting on the best material I have ever written to date & regardless of all extenuating circumstances that are out of my control, I was going to complete this next batch of songs on my own. By any means necessary.
I spent the next year writing, programming & learning as best I could how to record, mix & master the material, in preparation for releasing it all solo. Things have went a little slower than I had originally planned, but I had ZERO background in recording & ran into a fair share of stumbles & trial & error realizations.
This will be the first song to be released in this manner.
I hope it finds you well & you are able to enjoy it, as I've poured my heart into this.
A brand new music video to coincide with this release will also be released on Saturday February 28th 2015. You will be able to catch the video here....

This single is also be available on iTunes(possibly in 2 parts so you don't have to pay full album price because of the length,) Spotify, Google Play, Pandora, Amazon, Beats, Rdio, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube Music Key, etc... as well as 150+ smaller outlets. Just search around on your favorite music site. If it's not on there, let me know & I will get it on there!

Welcome to the watershed....
Thanks for coming, inside a written declaration, a great becoming.
A guttering candle, bobbing & weaving, refusing to resolve.
The great equalizer, in impermanence. A common prayer, at home in turbulence. This is it, knuckled up, where I must move on....
Once upon a time, never comes again. On broad shoulders, big as life, a beast inside, fuck it. I'm gonna live my life.

She said the show must go on.
Do Something. Move Something. Say Something. Play Something.
Challenge accepted. Meet me on the ground.
You ain't seen nothing yet
I'm not new to this
Been here before
I've swallowed no pride
While I've been away
Becoming....
You want paramount
This is paramount
You want paramount
Here it is....
Is that the best you got?
It isn't good enough.
Is that the best you got?
It isn't good enough.
Real Eyes. Realize.
Allies. All Lies.
Believe. Be Leaving.
Relieve. Reliving.
You ain't seen nothing yet
I'm not new to this
Been here before
I've swallowed no pride
While I've been away
You want paramount
This is paramount
You want paramount
This is it.
Yeah it still ain't over.
Is that the best you got?
It isn't good enough.
Is that the best you got?
You're just not good enough.
There's a prayer that I sing
One that means everything
To quiet the sound that haunts you when you're almost home.
May road rise, may the dark sing. May the air I breathe, be all I need.
May road rise, may the dark sing. May the air I breathe, be all I need.
May road rise, may the dark sing. May the air I breathe, be all I need.
There's a prayer that I sing
One that means everything
To quiet the sound that haunts you when you're almost home....
For every time I struggled
When every night I crumbled
I never killed myself
And I, got back up when
All decks were stacked against me
And if ever I need reminding
I sit all by myself
And I play this song....
What you won't do is what I will do,
And what you can't do, I've already done.
idiedtrying. - A mission of creating timeless & compelling music, with a cinematic context & pushing the boundaries of
emotion within art.
Sometimes beautiful, often joylessly melancholy but most accurately described as horrific. Forever art-damaged. Complete murdered auditory terrorism. The peak of transient delving, compulsive emotional mutilation.
